Terms of Use

The service
These terms govern your use of Taleweaver, operated by Caleb Jost. By using the service you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and able to enter into this agreement. Questions can be sent to calebjost@gmail.com.
Your account and campaigns
Keep your account secure and only access campaigns you are authorized to use. Owners manage campaign membership and campaign deletion. DMs and players have the permissions described in the app. Do not try to bypass these controls or use another person's account.
Your content and permission to record
You retain your rights in content you submit. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content as needed to provide the features you request, including processing by our service providers. You are responsible for permission to record every participant and for rights to uploaded audio, artwork, and other content. Do not upload recordings or copyrighted material you are not entitled to process.
AI outputs
AI transcripts, speaker suggestions, summaries, wiki content, and artwork can contain mistakes. Review them before relying on or sharing them. Generated content may not be unique, and we do not promise that it qualifies for copyright protection. Your own and third parties' underlying rights continue to apply.
Acceptable use
Do not use Taleweaver for unlawful activity, harassment, unauthorized surveillance, infringement, or distribution of harmful material. Do not attack the service, attempt to obtain other users' data, or evade usage limits. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse or protect the service.
Beta availability and recordings
Taleweaver is currently a beta service. Features may change, processing may fail, and mobile operating systems may interrupt browser recording when a phone locks or switches apps. Keep a separate original audio file for important sessions. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a particular completion time, or a service-level agreement.
Subscriptions
Paid checkout is not currently enabled. Before any paid subscription is offered, checkout will show its price, billing interval, included usage, renewal terms, and cancellation method. No paid subscription is created simply by visiting this website. Future paid terms will apply only after they are presented and accepted.
Leaving Taleweaver
You can export your data and request account deletion. Owned campaigns require explicit deletion before the owner's account can be deleted. Deleting a member's account does not automatically erase the party's shared chapters. See the Privacy Policy for retention details.
Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta service is provided as available without guarantees of accuracy, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded. Contact us first about a dispute so we can try to resolve it.

We may update these terms as features develop and will communicate material changes through the service or an appropriate account notice. For support, disputes, or questions, email calebjost@gmail.com.
